Michelle And Barack Obama's Final White House Halloween Party Included An Epic "Thriller" Dance - Watch

There was nothing scary about Michelle and Barack Obama's final Halloween party in the White House on Monday. The first family celebrated with more treats than tricks—inviting more than 4,000 guests to their home for an epic Halloween bash complete with candy and even a "Thriller" flash dance.

The Obamas decorated the South Lawn of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue in a "Storybook Journey" theme that featured decorations inspired by stories including Mother Goose, Peter Pan, and Alice in Wonderland. Dressed in a wide array of impressive costumes, 4,000 people—kids and parents alike—lined up to receive candy from the president and the First Lady. This year's haul reportedly included Hershey Kisses, homemade cookies, M&Ms, fruit bars, kettle corn, Bo and Sunny baseball cards, and other assorted candies.

"You guys all look scary, or cool, or whatever you're trying to be," Obama told the trick-or-treaters at the party's reception. "We hope, parents, that on this day at least, you don't have to pay attention to Michelle and healthy eating.

"Candy for everybody," FLOTUS agreed, abandoning her healthy eating initiatives for the day.

"And in fact, the more candy, the later you eat the candy, the better," joked the president. "Because I think that you being up all night with a sugar rush is exactly what your parents are looking for."
