'Hush' Season 1 Episode 253 Recap - Aired: Wednesday 22 March 2017
Bem and Prime are still having a face off.
Prime asks Bem if he's sure he doesn't fancy a drink 'cause he looks like he could do with one.
Bem says again that he doesn't drink.
Prime tells him to wipe that look off his face, what he did to Gerald and Arinola is no different from what Bem has done; Bem cannot have forgotten Ferdinand who was Arinola's close friend and Tokunboh.
Bem asks how he knew about Tokunboh.
Prime; I am Prime.
Bem says Tolu was a threat to Populous, so he did what he did for Populous even though he didn't make the final call and Tokunboh was the scum of the earth.
Prime tells him to stop acting like a hero or some medieval knight in shinning armour.
Bem says he doesn't pretend to be what he's not.
Prime says Gerald coveted his position for a very long time and he indulged him till he didn't, Arinola was a victim of her stubbornness, snooping around where she didn't belong; in many ways, Bem was responsible for her death, he should have stopped her from putting her nose into their business but instead he fell in love with her.

He says he wanted a meeting with Folahan and needed Tise for that but some random guy showed up and started shooting, he thought they were Folahan's guys but it turned out that they wanted to kill Tise.
She asks if they were Folahan's political opponents.
He says he doesn't think so and it if wasn't for Sai, he would be dead by now.
She asks if he thinks his dad put him up to it.
Tes says he wouldn't put it past him.
She says she doesn't think it's something the detectives need to hear so he needs to get his story straight.
Prime gets out of the chair and tells Bem that he's off, duty calls
Bem says he has one more question.
Prime sounds a little irritated as he says 'The only reason you're allowed to ask me questions is at his my request.
You see, I admire your resourcefulness and as limited as it might seem, no other regional head has shown initiative plus you're quite ordinary and ambitious, I could use a man like you and make you something'.
Bem says 'I'm sure you know what my answer would be'.
Prime tells him to think about it.
Bem says it's no, his words don't change with the tide and he's a man of his word.
Prime says he wonders what Bem thinks would happen to that pretty lawyer of his should he find Bem's answer unsuitable to his demands or his hot headed flea of a son or his over reaching girlfriend, even his vivacious future daughter in law and her unborn child.
Bem asks if he's threatening him.
Prime says 'I don't issue threats. I do what I do'.
He brings out a phone and shows it to Bem then says he assumes Bem knows what it is.
Bem says it's Shadow's phone
Prime asks if that's what 'IT' was called,? what a shame.
He says he's doing this as a show of good fate and Bem knows what to do to keep the people he loves alive.
