Militants Ask N5m Ransom After Bloody Attack In Ikorodu

Despite the promise of the Commissioner of Police, Lagos State, Mr. Fatai Owoseni on Sunday to deploy policemen to Yewa Community in Ishawo area of Ikorodu to restore peace, the residence have cried out that they have not seen the presence of security operatives in the area, even as the militants are said to have made a N5 million ransom demand.

It was also learnt that the residents of community have started moving out of their houses in droves over the lack of security operatives in the area.

Meanwhile, the militants cum kidnappers, whose attack in the wee hours of Sunday claimed the life of an Army captain and four policemen, are said to have made a N5 million ransom demand from the family of one of the abducted landlords.
