Chuks and Ene are still on the phone.
Chuks tells Ene to say she was joking about Jigawa.
Ene says she's not.
He says that's no promotion.
She says it's not her best option but it's a chance to be a branch manager.
Chuks asks what happens with Amara.
Ene says she would take her.
Chuks says he won't allow her take his daughter and reminds her that they both agreed Ene needs to spend time with the family.
She asks what he wants her to do.
He tells her to turn it down and talk to her boss, then call him back.
Maro enters Brenda's house and sees her wiping her tears
She asks if she's okay.
Brenda asks for the documents.
Maro hands them over.
Brenda says it's costing a lot.
She gets a call from the private investigator who tells her he's found the subject and he looks alive and well, he was at the airport on his way to Lagos.
Brenda asks for his number.
Ene tells Chuks that if she turns it down she might as well be without a job.
He asks if she had spoken to her boss
She says the person taking over from her has already resumed and she needs to hand over.
He tells her to handover and come home, he doesn't see her being unemployed for long.
She tries to protest but he tells her he has to go.
She almost flings her phone in frustration.
Tsav's lawyer asks what happened to their plan because he's as good as dead.
He ignores her and he's taken away.
Alhaji calls the lawyer to ask what happened.
She says she doesn't know because she went to great lengths to make sure Tsav stuck to their agreement.
He tells her to fix it.
Sankey is at work.
Christy is on the phone saying thank you
She tells Sankey that it was the director of public relations who called.
She says Sankey doesn't seem thrilled.
Sankey says she has a feeling they are sending the wrong man to jail.
Christy tells her to come off it.
Brenda dials chief's number.
He answers and she's shocked to hear his voice.
He asks if it's Serena on the line.
Brenda quickly ends the call.
Shoshanna takes her friends to Ziggy’s for a treat.
She asks for another round of drinks.
Salewa tries to tell her to take it easy.
Sho says it's her first pay cheque and it won't happen all the time.
Helen and Salewa congratulate her.
Dikibo is at Sheila's place.
He says Tsav finally decides to man up and take responsibility for his actions.
Sheila says she didn't expect he would do it.
She calls Sankey to ask what happens to Yaya now.
Sankey says she's reviewing her file and they are dropping all charges.
Sheila asks how soon she can pick her up.
Sankey says she can come right away.
Mimi enters the conference room and meets Oris working.
She starts pacing the room.
Oris asks what's on her mind.
She says she got interviewed for the position of GM.
Oris says he can't think of anyone more deserving.
Nnenna barges in and says the guy Charles was interviewing says he would fire people when he gets the job.
Mimi says Charles won't give the job to an outsider, especially one who wants to fire people once he's hired.
Nnenna says she hopes so, otherwise they should start packing their bags.
Serena opens her hotel room.
Alexis and Zane walk in.
She hugs Alexis.
Zane stands up and she asks if he's leaving.
He ignores her and heads to the bathroom.
Zane's phone rings on the table and Serena answers.
Brenda is surprised to hear Selena's voice.
She asks what she's doing with his phone.
Serena says Zane is with her, so Brenda should leave them alone.
Christy goes to inform Yaya that her charges have been dropped.
Yaya asks what's going on and where Tsav is.
Christy asks if she wants to go or stay.
Yaya walks out.
Ene's boss tells that he thought she was looking forward to the promotion.
Ene says she can't leave her family.
He says it's a shame.
She asks if it's possible she retains her position.
He says it's not possible and there's not much he can do to help.
He asks if she can't make it work.
She says she doesn't think so.
He says she was an asset and he wishes her all the best in her future endeavours.
Brenda calls Chief again.
He answers and asks who is on the line.
She says the who is not important.
He asks what she wants.
She says she knows he's in Lagos and who he seeks, Serena.
His interest piques and he asks how much she wants, to help him find Serena.
She says she doesn't want any money but will speak to him later.
He asks how she knows he's in town.
She says it's not important.
Chuks returns home to find Ene crying on the couch.
He asks what happened.
He starts yelling for Amara.
Aunty Nenye enters and says Amara is sleeping.
Ene says he cares about only Amara.
He asks if he's jealous of her daughter.
She says she has left her job and hopes he's ready to cater for the family alone.
Aunty Nenye asks Chuks what he made Ene do.
Yaya enters Sankey's office and asks what's going on.
Sheila says they will talk about it when they get home.
Yaya says she wants to talk about it now.
Sheila says Tsav had his arraignment and pled guilty, so the charges against her were dropped.
Christy says the judge will issue him a sentence soon
Yaya asks why he pled guilty.
She says it's Sheila's fault.
Sheila says it's a complicated situation.
Yaya says Sheila is lying asks what she has done.
