Real Survive Legia Scare, Spurs Lose

Real Madrid survived a scare in Poland after playing 3-3 with Legia Warsaw, while English side, Tottenham Hotspur’s woes in Europe’s elite club competition continued Wednesday night after losing 1-0 at Wembley.

Spurs, who narrowly missed the Premier League title last season, were not the vibrant side seen at White Hart Lane and now face crashing out of the knock out stage of the UEFA Champions League following this latest reversal.

And in Poland, Madrid needed a last grasp equaliser to avoid an upset,while Monaco demolished CSKA Moscow 3-0.
Ahmed Musa’s Leicester played out a barren draw with FC Copenhagen in Denmark to remain unbeaten in the competition.
