'Hush' Season 1 Episode 252 Recap - Aired: Tuesday 21 March 2017

Adze is pacing up and down the hospital reception.

Vina says the world is going mad; first Oye, now Tes.

Adze calls Billz.

Billz asks if they touched him.

Adze says Tes was shot.

Billz screams.

Adze says there will be hell to pay.

Billz tells him to calm down.

After the call, Vina asks Adze if he wants to get shot like Tes and if he wants her to raise the child on her own.

Adze says he has to do something.

Vina tells him not to do anything but since his mind is made up, he can go ahead but not involve her child or herself.

The detectives are in Linda's office.

The male detective asks Linda what she's thinking about.

Linda it's the whole thing, all the catastrophe associated with Tsenugos is doing her head in and to think she has been ordered to drop the Tsenugo case...

He tells her to focus on the elections, make sure it is free fair and well coordinated.

Linda is lost in her thoughts again.

He asks what she's thinking.

She says they have to check the house of Tsenugo head designer.

He tells her to forget the Tsenugo case and focus on the elections.

He brings out a file and suggests they look at the various wards.

Tise enters her gather's office and he puts her to sit on chair.

He asks if she's okay.

She says she was almost killed.

Folahan says he will make Tes pay.

Tise says Tes got shot by Gray.

Professor gives them some privacy and leaves the room.

Folahan says it serves Tes right, he thought he could play in the big leagues.

Tise says if not for the other people who came in, she doesn't know what Gray would have done to her.

Folahan asks who intervened.

Tise says she doesn't know but Gray will stop at nothing till he kills her.

Folahan says he would make sure that doesn't happen.

Prime sits in his chair and addresses the brothers.

He says he can't believe they all allowed Bem to give them the run around for months; one would think he was the oldest member and not the newbie.

He tells Bem that he has heard so much about him.

He asks for the report.

SS1 says 'The thing about Bem...'

Prime gives him an evil look.

SS1 apologises profusely.

Prime says 'Discretion is a greater part of brotherhood. I have a heart and i'm not in the mood for bloodshed'.

He asks for the report again.

He says Bem would get all the answers he seeks, even to the questions he didn't ask.

Wunmi is packing up her stuff from the office.

Raime asks if she's going away for the elections.

Wunmi says she has a lot going on and needs to clear her head.

She reminds Riame that she already said she was leaving during the elections.

Linda comes to see her.

Riame excuses them.

Linda says a Tsenogu was shot last night.

Wunmi holds her breath as she tells her not to say it was Bem.

Linda says it was Tes.

She asks if Wunmi knows why.

Wunmi says she doesn't know.

Linda says Wunmi needs to tell her where to find Bem.

Wunmi says she doesn't know.

Linda says it's election season and people get hurt, so the earlier he shows up, the better.

Billz comes to see Adze at the hospital.

He asks what happened.

Adze says Tintin said Tes was working on a private project that backfired.

Billz receives a text message for an impromptu Populous meeting in the morning.

Adze says he's not going.

Maria is about to drop a letter on the table when Vina walks into the house.

She tells Vina she's resigning, there's a bad spirit following the Tsenogus and much as she loves them, she has to leave before it gets to her turn.

Vina begs her to stay for her sake.

Maria reluctantly gives in.

Wunmi enters the hospital room.

She greets mummy and asks what happened.

Oye takes her aside and says it's Folahan.

Wunmi says she wishes Bem was there.

She says he has been working with Bem to bring down Vigo Corp and Folahan.

Oye doesn't buy it.

Wunmi says they need to talk.

Still at the Populous headquarters.

Prime: I have to thank some of you as we approach the finish line, your commitment to this project is unparalleled. 

There will be a party to mark the start of our new venture and you all are invited. 

Envelopes are by the door. 

They all leave the room, except Bem.

A waiter serves him a glass of liquor.

Prime: Drink to my health.

Bem: I'm sorry I don't drink.

Prime: I heard, no drinking, saved your life once.

Bem: What do you know about Gerald's death?

Prime: I am Prime. 

Bem: It means you know everything.

Prime: I like you. You catch on pretty quick. 

Now tell me why you want to stop Vigo Corp from reaching its full potential. 

No response from Bem.

Prime: A chain is only as strong as its weakest link and I'm not in the habit of repeating myself.

Why have you been in the way of Vigo Corp? 

Bem: Because it has been nothing but trouble, causing death and mayhem and destruction and that is not what Populous is all about.

Prime laughs.

Prime: What do you know about Populous? You joined in its weaning years, when a tailor could be allowed to walk the halls with men of valour.

Bem; I've been a member

Prime cuts him off.

Prime: There is no better time than now to die Bem Tsenugo! 

Were it left to me, someone like you could never have joined Populous. 

What do you know about Populous?

Bem: I know Populous.

Prime interrupts with a loud 'I am Populous!'

Bem: Is that why you got Gerald Idongesit killed? Because he was a better man than you and you could never have been anything close to what he was?

Prime gives Bem the meanest look.

Wunmi has told Oye everything.

Oye says so Bem was working to bring down Populous the entire time.

She asks why he didn't just tell her.

Wunmi says he tried.

Oye says Bem could have tried harder.

Wunmi asks if she would have listened.

Oye says she must have been a real pain.

Wumi says she was.

Oye asks where he is.

Wunmi says she doesn't know.

Gray enters Folahan's office and asks where Tise is.

Folahan says he hopes he has Tise with him.

Gray asks if Folahan is messing with him.

Folahan asks him where she is, he said he was going to bring her back.

Gray says he had her but she escaped.

Folahan feigns anger and says Gray gave his word.

Gray gives him back him phone and says if Tise calls, Folahan should get in touch with him.

He leaves and Folahan calls him a fool that has his day coming.

Oye suggests to Wunmi that they just hand it all over to the police.

Wunmi suggests they wait till Bem comes.

Oye says she doesn't want to be around when the elections come.

Tes stirs and Oye rushes to his bedside.

He looks around wondering where he is.

Oye climbs on the bed and says 'I'm glad you're okay. If you had died, I would have killed you.'

Mummy tells her to let him breathe and even the hospital attendants won't like her on their beds

Oye says they should come and carry her, she's not moving from the bed.

Prime: Do you know one funny thing about repeating yourself? You think it makes you powerful but it doesn't, it makes you weak

Familiarity breeds contempt, I reckon if you're around someone for too long, you get tired of them and annoyed by them.

Bem: Do I annoy you? Do I breed Contempt? You already have SS1 and SS2 fighting over one thing or the other, you threaten people's lives with the consequences of your actions and here you are, aloof, distant, untouchable. 

Prime : I am Prime!

Bem : Yes, no one touches Prime. 

Prime : Greater men than you have tried and failed, what makes you think you're any different?

Bem : Because I'm Bem Tsenogu. 

Prime : Don't try to fix it if it's not broken. 

Bem: But it is broken. 

Prime : The number of people did not matter in the grand scheme of things. Gerald, your precious Arinola, I took them off the board. 

Bem: You had them killed. Prime: I had them killed, Bem Tsenugo and what are you going to do about it?

Bem nods.
