'Tinsel' Season 9 Episode 1998 Recap - Aired: Tuesday 21 March 2017
Ene is home with Amara.
Chuks returns from the office.
He says Ene has done well.
Ene says they need to get a new nanny.
He says it's okay.
She asks why he doesn't sound bothered.
He says he found a nanny, Shoshanna.
Ene asks if it's a good idea to get someone so restless to take care of their child.
Chuks says at least she''s too vain to steal their food.
Charles tells Mimi that Tolu hasn't made a decision on whether he wants to do the project but he liked the synopsis and said the writers need to be commended.
Mimi says Oris and Nnenna did a good job.
Charles says they need to be commended.
Sho is at Ene's.
Ene gives her the schedule, to pick Amara from school, feed her, change her and help her with homework.
Sho screams.
Ene asks if it's a problem.
Sho says no.
Ene says she has to come weekends sometimes.
Sho says she has to see her makeup clients then.
Ene says she will find someone else then.
Sho says she can do it.
Ene says if Amara misbehaves, Sho needs to call her.
Sho asks why.
Ene warns her never to beat her child.
Christie is in Sankey's office.
She tells Sankey that she doesn't understand how they were ambushed.
Sankey says maybe the phone call was a trap.
An officer brings in the visitor's log from the hospital.
Detective Christie says Yaya and Sheila visited the hospital but the visits were few and far between till a couple of weeks ago.
She says she will visit them in the morning.
Sankey suggests she goes right away.
Detective Christie says she wants her suspects to be relaxed and not harassed.
Alexis is lying on Brenda's couch.
Zane comes in with a bag of Alexis 'clothes.
Alexis hugs him.
Zane asks if she behaved.
Brenda says Alexis didn't give her anything to worry about.
Zane says he's super proud of her
He hugs her and she looks on with guilt.
Sheila and her father are having breakfast.
Detective Christie comes in.
She says she got a tip off about Tsav whereabouts.
St. John says Tsav is not there.
Christine says Yaya has been frequenting the hospital and Sheila too.
Sheila asks what's wrong with that.
Yaya enters and asks Sheila if she has heard from him yet.
She is shocked when she sees Detective Christy.
Sho is with Amara in the house..
Ene calls to find out if Amara has been crying.
Sho says she's not crying and she's a darling.
Ene tells her to keep an eye on her and her food.
Sho says no problem.
Ene tells her not to spend time on the phone.
Sho agrees.
Christie asks Yaya what word she was waiting on and if it's Tsav.
Sheila tells her not to be ridiculous.
Christie says it won't be just a slap on the wrist for aiding and abetting a crime but people would go to jail.
Charles calls a meeting withe the staff to let them know the synopsis has been given approval.
Oris and Nnenna are happy.
He decides to give them a reward.
Nnenna says she has an idea what that would be.
At the end of the meeting, the others leave and Nnenna stays behind.
Charles tells her that he hoped he doesn't regret his decision to reward them.
She says he won't.
He says she's not shy of blowing her own trumpet.
She says modesty doesn't get anyone anywhere.
He asks what reward she's hoping to get.
She says a hundred percent raise.
He says there is no way.
She reduces it to 90.
He says he can't offer anything close to that.
He writes on a note and gives it to her.
She says he's so generous.
He says it's only fair.
She says she's really grateful but has another request, she doesn't want to manage front desk anymore but wants to join the content team.
He tells her to prove she deserves a spot and the job is hers.
Sankey tells Segun that Christie bungled the case and if only she didn't let Kingsley leave.
She calls her informant to tell him she wants to find Kingsley again.
He says word on the street is that some men took him away after he was released.
Sankey asks if they were in uniform.
He says they weren't.
Salewa and Helen come to visit Shoshanna at her babysitting job.
Salewa says she can't believe she's really doing it.
Sho asks why they didn't bring anything.
Helen says she should have asked if she needed something.
Sho is not happy.
Zane meets Brenda brooding in her office.
He asks what's wrong.
Brenda says she had a conversation with Serena the other day and realised she still has feelings for him and she's back in town to win him back.
Zane says he's Brenda's man.
Brenda says Serena is desperate and Zane is underestimating her.
Zane says she will pack her bags and leave Lagos.
Alexis appears from now where asking if Zane wants to get rid of her and her mummy because of Aunty Brenda.
Zane says he thought he told her to wait in his office.
He apologises to Brenda who looks just about fed up.
He takes Alexis out.
Masters' men are torturing Kingsley.
Alhaji asks who hired him.
Kingsley says one man, a chief.
Masters insists it was Tsav.
Kingsley says it wasn't Tsav.
Masters orders his men to get rid of him.
